The Autumn Review “I just loved this story, from the witty narration to the slightly awkward but entirely believable romance between these characters that warmed my heart.”
The Sub Club Books “This book is humorous, heartwarming, and cute. It has a different approach to the norm we are used to in regards to the leading man. I truly enjoyed every single moment of it!”
Princess Bookie “This one had me laughing out loud numerous times”
Alice Gibson “I cannot remember when I have enjoyed a book so much. The title admittedly put me off as I thought it gave the whole story away so why bother reading the whole thing….. I would have been SO WRONG. This is a funny, heartbreaking, romantic, entertainingly frustrating little bundle of joy.”
DevoGirl, a tough critic of wounded hero romances, gave it 5 stars on Amazon
Paradevo Book and Movie Reviews (DevoGirl again)
Chick Lit Central “I loved the characters….Tasha, Jason, Melissa and Larry! They seemed very relatable.”

PRESS RELEASE:
When you relentlessly search for love, in most cases the answer has been right in front of you the whole time. “The Boy Next Door,” the newest release from Dev Love Press, tells the story of two childhood best friends who first had to go through a series of failed relationships and personal life hell before they could realize that true happiness was just around the corner.
Through middle school, high school, bad dates, and an ill-advised punk phase, Tasha Moran has always been able to count on Jason. Since the day he moved in next door, he’s gone from the weird kid in a wheelchair to Tasha’s most trusted friend. But lives change and the friends are going indifferent directions.
When Jason and Tasha rekindle their friendship, sparks fly. After years of being a wild soul, now the ex-lead of a band turned music teacher is just looking for a relationship to last. When none other than Jason introduces her to a man who can give her what she wants, Tasha is on the verge of throwing passion and love away just so she can forget her troubled past and settle down. But Jason isn’t ready to give her up just yet.
This non-typical romance will melt even the most skeptical hearts and will make everyone rethink their idea of what men in wheelchairs are capable of. Tasha’s bright spirit and her antics will keep the reader glued to ever page, cheering for her and Jason to finally get together, while the main hero’s mild temper and personal charisma make him completely loveable.
The book contains some strong language and a few explicit intercourse scenes, but thanks to Annabelle Costa’s brilliant writing style, everything is handled in good taste.
